St. Pius X Faith Formation

All parishioners are invited to join in making a reality the ideal that within our homes we strive to build a household of faith, and come together as a parish family in faith. Every member of St. Pius X parish is included in concept, regardless of age, family structure, vocation, or choice of school system. Families in Faith will consist of, but not be limited to, the following opportunities.

SUNDAY MORNING FAITH FORMATION

End of August until the middle of May, from 9:15-10:30 a.m

There will be structured faith formation sessions for ages 4 through 17. There will also be various opportunities for adult reflection and formation during this time.

CANCELLATION

In case of inclement weather or hazardous driving conditions, an announcement of class cancellation will be made on these radio stations WBKR 92.5 FM and WBIO 94.7 FM and the following television stations WEHT-TV 25, WEVV-TV CBS 44, and WFIE-TV NBC14.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

Sunday mornings during faith formation the adults will have the opportunity to hang out in the parish hall for coffee, refreshments, etc. Activities will be available for those who want something to do.

Each year there will be events to bring the families together, again regardless of age, family structure, or vocation, to get to know each other, forming relationships and connections with each other that will enrich our parish.

OUTREACH

As opportunities arise we will reach out to those in need. Examples of past efforts (hopefully these will continue) include, making rosaries and sending to the missions, putting together gifts for our sick and shut-in parishioners, and delivering them with a visit or a group offering the gift of song, collecting food and non-perishable items for food baskets at Thanksgiving, etc.
